This page will be dedicated to tracking Ruth's recent, current, and upcoming projects.
Watching
Ruth design a quilt is really an experience, because she goes through hundreds of variations in designs and colors and just
when you think she has it...there is another! ... with all the previous ones lost forever
except to the memory of those who were watching over her shoulder!
Ruth has quite a few ideas floating around. I can't
keep up! But, I'm trying!
Ruth has several new "unpublished"
patterns out. She has also undertaken hand embroidery / redwork. [And, she is working on some real neat redwork classes and
projects!]. However, there is a lot on this already on an email. So, CLICK HERE to see the details!
| Figure 8 |

|
Ruth just finished [December, 2011] the
design and quilt for the Figure 8. It is an asymetrical
log cabin. Stop by and see it. [No Perfect Corner RulerTM required!]
| Cactus Flower |

|
The
Cactus Flower debuted in Houston at the Fall International Quilt Market and Festival, 2011. It is a
redesign of the Cactus Star specifically for the Perfect Corner RulerTM. The
redesign went farther than anticipated. The simple act of placing a corner triangle on one of the points significantly softened
the appearance. So, we renamed it the Cactus Flower. This setting is particularly good at a variety of color
ways so that it can change for the seasons or location. Of course, it is currently on display at the shop.

She refers to her latest group of patterns as "Patternettes". The are $4.00 and
as complete kits usually run from $8.00 to $12.00. They are in the affordable range and fun. Shown here is my favorate, "Gingerbread,
Yum". The tea towels are sold separately, as you may already have a tea towel, towel, pillow case, sweatshirt
or blouse that you want to put them on. Come by and take a look at them! You'll love 'em!
| Striped Tumbling Blocks |

|
| © 2011 by Raggedy Ruth Designs |
Ruth just finished working on a pattern that is based on tumbling blocks. It uses Creative
Grids Non-Slip 120 Degree Ruler. The title is "Striped Tumbling Blocks".
We have had this at every show
since its creation. People just stop and stare! They come back with friends to look at it! Although this is a wall hanging size, it can be expanded to bed size
by making multiples and arranging them as a star, or other shape.
Experiment. You'll love it!
| Spinning Spools |

|
| C) 2011 Forever In Stitches LLC |
"Spinning Spools" is a new pattern using the
Perfect Corner RulerTM. It was introduced as the free pattern for the "Kids Away Moms
Will Play" shop hop.
It is now available as a Raggedy Ruth DesignsTM pattern
for sale.
| RickRack Flag |

|
| (C) 2011 Forever In Stitches LLC |
After having a "rickrack" booth across from
ours at the International Quilt Festival 2011 / Cincinnati, Ruth decided to make a variation of "I Pledge Allegiance".
This one is smaller.
The waving stripes are created with rickrack instead of flying geese. This is a "quilt as you go" wall hanging. This one is
a quick project! The
Perfect Corner RulerTM is recommended for the square-in-a-square star.
| Easy Four In One |

|
| (C) 2011 Forever In Stitches LLC |
Ruth has finished working on "Easy Four In One".
Which is four new patterns sold as a single pattern. Each pattern uses the same fabrics and amounts for each of
the sizes, throw through king.
So you can pick and choose the pattern you want from the four in the pattern and then choose
the color wave of the kit! Or, pick your own colors!
This has really been an incredible
seller!
