Please plan accordingly for the Holiday Season:

The Christmas Holiday Period is historically a time of high volume. Many newer quilters are unaware of the mass of quilted gifts and decorations that are being planned by the quilting community for the holidays. The result is that many times those desiring to get a gift finished in time for those holiday needs are disappointed.

The Cut-Off is the last day that we can assure our customers that their projects will be done a week before Christmas [i.e. December 17] so that they can be bound and used.

We will announce our Christmas Cut-Off when it occurs. We can not specify the date of the cut-off in advance as it is totally dependant upon the backlog plus the submission rate, which varies widely from day to day.

During the holiday season of 2008 we announced the cut-off at the end of November. In 2007 we were fortunate that those not needing their projects for the holidays kindly allowed others to "cut in front" and we were able to take in projects up to 8 days before Christmas Day and still get them coompleted by the very next day!

If you require more of a lead time due to shipping or travel requirements, please consider using the expedite service as this is the only way we can promise a specific date of delivery. We reserve the right to not provide expedited services due to backlog and other promises for projects already accepted.

Items submitted after the cut-off announcement will not have a delivery promise.

Please plan ahead so that your expectations and those who will appreciate your work-of-art will be met.
